- Cochrane clinical answers (CCAs) contains a clinical question, a short answer, and data for the outcomes from the Cochrane Review deemed most relevant to practising healthcare professionals, our target audience. 10th Edition of the European Pharmacopoeia (2020). The European Pharmacopoeia is published by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. EP provides common quality standards throughout the pharmaceutical industry in Europe to control the quality of medicines, and the substances used to manufacture them. EP defines requirements for the qualitative and quantitative composition of medicines, the tests to be carried out on medicines and on substances and materials used in their production. The official standards it contains provide a scientific basis for quality control during the entire life cycle of a product. It contains 2 420 monographs, 374 general texts (including general monographs and methods of analysis) and around 2 780 descriptions of reagents. Access is available for 200 users.
